Peers and Secondments
Capital Ambition is committed to providing support to authorities through peer support and intervention. Its emphasis is on mutuality and collaborative working across authorities to improve public services across London.
The Capital Ambition Peer Support Scheme was set up to facilitate joint working and the sharing of best practice across London's local authorities. It assists authorities by selecting individuals with specialist knowledge and placing them with authorities where their expertise is required. Capital Ambition works closely with the Improvement and Development Agency (IDeA) to source peers via the Peer Clearing House (PCH) , and has an important target of ensuring that a minimum of 55 Officers and 55 Members are trained as PCH accredited peers across London.
